The model was entirely scratchbuilt with the exceptions of the tires which are Italeri. By measuring the actual truck and information

I obtained from the net and from the dealer I drew up my own drawings from which I built the model.  Paint was simply Varathane

Colors in Plastic.  Chrome was done with Alcad II.  Wheels were painted with a product called rub & buff silver leaf.

I went to the Beauroc website and obtained the info needed to build the dump box.  On the Hendrickson site I was able to access the drawings needed to fashion the Hendrickson suspension.  Undercarriage includes rearends, driveshafts, universal joints, shocks and torsion bars.

I had originally planned to use a CAT engine from an old KW kit,  but the dealer emphasized that was a nono and KW now came with Cummins ISX engine.  From brochures and pics of the actual engine I was able build a reasonable replica of the actual motor.  I scratchbuilt the wheel rims with individual bolts.  The interior of the cab is also detailed with seats, dashboard with defroster vents, steering wheel, pedals and gear shift.
