1/24 Testors Mercedes 300 SL |

This is a build from about three years ago. I have always been a fan of the older Mercedes, especially the Gullwing and Roadster 300 SL's.
I built this out of the box with the only additions being seat belts and
the rear window glass for the soft top. I give high kudos to Testors for the quality and fit of the kit parts. This kit was a real pleasure to build
as it almost fell together. I didn't bother to detail the engine area as I prefer curbside models.
I used Model Master paints through out the build. I don't remember the
name of the color I used for the body, but is it a very close match to the original color used by Mercedes. The color call out is listed in the
instructions, which I tossed shortly after completing the model. Terry Davis
