This is the ModelKing reboxing of the old AMT Hemi under Glass.  That being said, there is a lot of flash as the molds are showing their age.  It's not a real accurate presentation of the original 68 car.  The original did not have a blown Hemi, it was fuel injected.  The engine is also too far forward, so much so, that there isn't a hemi under the glass!

The kit goes together ok and is typical of older kits.  The only thing I added were wires for the engine.  The only chrome I left on the model was the front axle as the attachment points are easy to hide.  The fit of the wheels leaves a bit to be desired and will require drying overnight to get a secure attachment.

The body as painted MM Gold, masked off and then painted MM Gloss Black.  I painted all the chrome trim MM Chrome.  The kit doesn't supply all the decals needed, all you get is the "Hemi under Glass" for the body sides.
