As anyone knows I love EVOs. Probably from their first inception and when I first was introduced to them I was in love and desperately wished we could own them here in America.  With the EVO VIII that dream came true, although not for me, yet!  This is Hasegawa's EVO IV WRC Acropolis Rally car from 1997.  At the hands of rally legend Tommi Makinen the EVO claimed title after title and stormed to WRC dominance.

I have had this kit for over 5 years and started it off and on over that period of time. Forever I thought this was a bear kit and I would never get it finished.  This was also during my time of non modeling where I hadn't really built and didn't have the skills I once thought I had.  Since it was a present from my wife though and I love EVOs I was reluctant to give up on it.

Now that I've been back into modeling basically full time for over a year I've learned things that I probably couldn't have completed this model without before.  I learned them all here at ARC as well.  A high tribute to this website and the people who frequent it.

Model is completely oob using almost everything that was inside.  There were some pe bits that I don't have the tools to manage yet so I left them off.  Decals went on nicely even after sitting in an open box for that long.  All in all I'm very pleased with the model. Hope you are too.
